NON CUT CAKE TOPPERS

As you have bought from our older basics range your toppers are not pre-cut. You will need to carefully cut out your toppers using sharp scissors or a craft knife before using.

Step 1 - Bake

Bake your cakes and allow to cool

Step 2 - Decorate

Finish your cakes as desired or leave plain if you wish. Our toppers will work on most surfaces. Important If your topping is warm or wet please allow this to cool and/or dry before affixing a cake topper

Step 3 - Open Toppers

Open your packet of edible cake toppers and carefully with clean, dry hands cut out your toppers

Step 4 - Top!

To affix a topper to your cupcake/cake you will need a sticking agent or it will fall off. If you have iced/frosted your cakes in step 2 generally a very small dab of warm water on the icing where you want your topper will help to stick the topper to the cake - it is very important that you use as little water as possible to stick your topper as too much moisture will cause the edges to curl. We suggest a very small dab of honey, syrup, or ecdible sugar glue for a professional finish or for those who have not iced their cakes

Step 5 - Eat/Store

Once you have finished step 4 your toppers are ready to eat. If you are storing these keep them in a cool, dry place in an airtight container as heat and moisture will cause toppers to curl up over time

STAND-UP AND SCENE CAKE TOPPERS

These toppers are pre-cut and super easy to use, but please be sure to read everything carefully so that you make the most of your toppers.

Step 1 - Bake

Bake your cakes and allow to cool

Step 2 - Decorate

Finish your cakes as desired or leave plain if you wish. Stand-up toppers will work on most toppings. Important If your topping is warm or wet please allow this to cool and/or dry before affixing a cake topper

Step 3 - Open Toppers

Open your packet of edible cake toppers and carefully with clean, dry hands push out the toppers from the perforated sheet

Step 4 - Top!

If you have used a piped frosting on the top of your cupcakes it couldn't be easier to use your stand-up toppers... simply push the tab into the icing with a clean dry hand and you're all done! If you are using a different topping/no topping at all you will need to carefully push the tip of a knife into your bake so that you can make a slit to place the tab of the standup topper into, this will need to be only 1cm or so deep so that the tab slots in perfectly

Step 5 - Eat/Store

Once you have finished step 4 your toppers are ready to eat. If you are storing these keep them in a cool, dry place in an airtight container as heat and moisture will cause toppers to curl up over time
